Two new Beef Shorthorn Classes with excellent prize funds. Also new Commercial Classes at Elphin Show Sept 2nd.

 

First Class is in Iverk Show in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny on August 26th 2017.

Shorthorn Heifer Max weight 500kgs Prize Fund of 1000 euro .

Criteria:

Must be registered with the Irish Shorthorn Society

Aged under 3 years on the day of the show.

Must be certified in calf and must be certified TH Free.

New Commercial Classes

New Commercial Shorthorn Unhaltered Classes at Elphin Show on Saturday 2nd September 2017 sponsored by the Irish Shorthorn Society

 

Class 106 – Best Male Calf born in 2017 (Must have Shorthorn parentage on either the dam or sire side to be eligible)

Class 107 – Best female Calf born in 2017 (Must have Shorthorn parentage on either the dam or sire side to be eligible)

 

Note: Proof of bloodline must be displayed on the day, this will be done by the show committee

 

For example:
Calf can be a SH, SHX, CHX, LMX, BBX, AAX etc. etc. once either the Dam or Sire is Shorthorn bred

 

Pedigree Shorthorn calves are exempt
